Nether Street Art made a piece of street art from one of my photos of K-Swift & Scottie B. It’s up now in Baltimore City (as you can see above)!
Here is the photo it’s taken from:
I’ve done a few promo shoots in my studio lately for some Baltimore electronic music producers. Check out my Portraits & Promo Shots set on Flickr for more shots of them, and others. And contact me if you are interested in getting some portraits, head shots, or promo shots done!
A few weeks back, Rye Rye and Say Whut did a video shoot at Metro Gallery in Baltimore for the Baltimore Sun. It was streamed live on the internet by a huge camera crew, as part of the promotions for Rye Rye’s debut full-length, which should be out soon (We’ve been waiting for it to drop for like a year or so!)… it was a great time, and while at first it felt a little weird, with all the lights and cameras, as soon as Rye Rye got going, the crowd loosened up and enjoyed the show… really getting into it and even taking the stage. It’s great to see her career taking off lately, and I am excited to see what happens when the album comes out! Click below to see the rest of the shots!
DJ Excel, DJ Booman and Bmore Original helped organize what I hope becomes a regular event, a record pull at Club Reality in Baltimore City. Labels, artists, DJs, Producers, and media from DC/MD/Va got together and talked, met each other, networked, performed, and had a dialogue. A cool event and very chill, low-stress, very little drama. Follow the record pull on facebook, or check out the new website.
I did still photography for the first Mz Streamz video ("Tear It Up"). They shot this the summer of 2008 and I wasn’t supposed to post these until after the video debuted, but I forgot to go back and post them after the video debuted! So here they are…

Monday night I stopped by a packed Metro Gallery and caught the Get Em Mamis, a local rap duo… they killed it, the crowd loved them. Check out the photos here.
A few weekends ago (right around the same time my laptop died, thus the long delay), I made it up to NYC for CMJ, and to hang out with friends. Even though I had a badge (thanks, Citypaper), I didn’t make it to many sanctioned events… the highlights for me were the Unruly Records/Senari bash at Love, Ponytail’s performance at the Fader Fort, and of course just hanging out with friends. Click here for the fun NYC set.
A week or so ago, still shaken from the amazing Rock the Bells experience, I shot Spank Rock, Amanda Blank, Blaqstarr, Sy Young, Diplo, and friends at Sonar… it was a blast, Blaqstarr killed it as always… Click here for the whole set.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of shooting and attending the 15th Anniversary Party for Unruly Records, My Crew Be Unruly at Paradox in Baltimore. Scottie B, K-Swift (one of her last performances), Diplo, Blaqstarr, DJ Class, Stretch Armstrong, DJ Sega, Say Whut, Dave Nada, Tittsworth, Mz Streamz, and many more DJs and MCs were there to make it a ridiculously amazing party… Check out the set here.
