The other day I shot the Dru Hill reunion for the Baltimore Sun… along with Dru Hill was member Nokio’s rock band, Black Angel Down. Show started VERY late due to a lot of local openers, but they all made it to the stage and put on an energetic show. I’m not from Baltimore originally, but even I know the tale of how they all met at the Fudgery (a singing dessert shop) down in the Harbor, and from there somehow became multi-platinum artists. Pretty crazy story, and the sold-out crowd proved there is still love (or at least curiousity) for Dru in Baltimore today.
