Last night we saw Clipse & Pack FM (and Low Budget and the Foundation) at Sonar. AWESOME show. Should be getting some Clipse pictures up tomorrow.

Wow, it’s been way too long since I posted here. I’ve been quite busy, doing a lot of freelance, shooting for Pig Destroyer, TaxLo, taking pictures at a few shows… etc. I’ll be posting alot over the next few days, hopefully.
Above is a shot of Publicist from the recent Plastic Little/JC & DLake/Publicist show at the H&H (put on by Taxlo & Rabbitfoot). Good times – Plastic Little is one of my current faves and Publicist was fun since he was obviously pretty hammered so the fact that he could play drums at all was astounding!

blackie knight played tonight @ the nerve center. i had never seen them before. i drank champagne in protest of the standard house show natty boh hegemony. it was a good time. check out the pictures.
Chris X’s birthday.
Last thursday, we gathered to celebrate Chris’ birthday… This was the second time I’d been to Rocket To Venus, the new bar in Hampden, both for birthdays. I like that place! Awesome jukebox, nice decor, not TOO crowded…

Caught Wisconsin rapper Juiceboxxx at Taxlo friday – he was great! Totally animated, he flailed around constantly, did a million or so call and responses, and managed to get on every surface in the place, including the pool table, one of the speakers, a rickety table (two people had to hold it to keep him from spilling to the concrete of the lounge). Good times. I bought his collaborative LP with Dre Skull (who was DJing for him), but I left it in Simon’s car.

New Year’s Eve @ the Ottobar.
New Year’s Eve at the Ottobar was a good time – a suprising amount of people showed up (suprising because I don’t think most of them like country)… will country be the next big hipster trend? Is it already and I just didn’t get the memo?
Regardless, it was fun… we also managed to get kicked out of Sonar and I even swung by Dionysus solo, since they were open til 6 AM!!! It was basically a SIN, though.
