Two of the most wildly audience interacting live bands around played at the Ottobar monday… it was a great, great time. DMBQ are still one of the best bands I have EVER seen… Monotonix was fun and a spectacle (even taking the show outside before Ottobar staff chased everyone back in), but musically I don’t think they quite compare. Monday I saw the Kills play at the Ottobar. It was my first time seeing them, and I was actually pretty impressed… I didn’t know what to expect but they were good live, though Alison seemed like she was about to collapse towards the end… understandable honestly, given how much she was rocking out.
